Pasamos junto a la Sima del Anillo y el Collado de Arra ya lo tenemos perfectamente a la vista, aunque nos queda una buena cuesta hasta llegar a él. Desde el Collado de Arra el tipo de ruta cambia radicalmente: paisajes mucho más aéreos, roca y más roca, e imposibilidad de ir con las manos en los bolsillos más de cinco minutos seguidos por las constantes trepadas y destrepes que nos encontramos.
